Welcome to Meridian’s Expanded Learning Program!

Welcome to the Meridian Elementary Expanded Learning Program! (ELOP/EXLP) Our goal is to provide students with a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where they can continue learning, exploring, creating, and having fun beyond the regular school day.

At Meridian, our Expanded Learning Program is designed around the needs and interests of our students. Because we are a small school community, we have the opportunity to build strong relationships with our students and provide activities that are hands-on, engaging, and meaningful.

Throughout the year, students participate in a variety of enrichment opportunities, including STEAM activities, science experiments, art and creative projects, cooking activities, games, outdoor recreation, team-building activities, and more. Through programs and resources such as STEAM On Demand and Allset, we are continually adding new activities and opportunities for students to explore.

Our afternoons also provide students with time to complete homework, relax after the school day, enjoy a snack, spend time with friends, and participate in structured activities. We work to maintain a balance between enrichment, recreation, academics, and giving students a comfortable place to end their school day.

One of the things I value most about our program is the sense of community we have at Meridian. I want our students to feel that ELOP is a place where they belong, where they can try new things, and where they can look forward to coming each day.

I am excited to continue growing our Expanded Learning Program and bringing new opportunities and experiences to our students throughout the school year.
